DIPLOMA
This will be a 12,000 piece of writing. This is an excellent place to start and can be conducted at any stage of your life.
Topics supervised: Truth University can offer supervision in the Humanities (History and Literature), Social Sciences, Business and Management and in some areas of Health.
Supervision process: you will have one-to-one supervision with the members of your supervisory team which will be set up once your research topic is clear.

MASTERS
This will be a 40,000 piece of writing and would normally be conducted by someone with a first degree or equivalent.
Topics supervised: Truth University can offer supervision in the Humanities (History and Literature), Social Sciences, Business and Management and in some areas of Health.
Supervision process: you will have one-to-one supervision with the members of your supervisory team which will be set up once your research topic is clear.

PhD QUALIFICATION
You can undertake PhD programme with Truth University and achieve a doctoral qualification that will be recognised as an original contribution to knowledge and one defined by a Critical appraisal of current thinking on the selected topic. Truth University is not accredited by the government and so a qualification is a genuinely independent piece of work.
Potentially, if the work is of sufficient interest, then Truth University will suggest publication of the thesis as a book, ensuring that the text is accessible to a general audience. This may necessitate some re-writing of the original thesis in order to ensure its readability and attractions to the public at large.
Differences between a PhD at Truth University and at a mainstream university
Subject matter / approach:
Students in mainstream universities will often find that there are ‘no go’ areas in terms of areas of investigation but PhD study with Truth University is not similarly restricted. In fact, students are encouraged to apply Critical Thinking to their area of study and not be afraid to present new evidence and new interpretations of existing evidence, provided that arguments and sources are well supported.
Fees: in the mainstream system, the tuition fees for home students undertaking a PhD are set by the UK Research Council (UKRI). For full-time PhD study in 2026-7, the minimum fee is 5,238. Truth University sits outside the mainstream system and since it is non-hierarchical and without the overheads of a legacy institution, it can afford to charge lower fees. For the year 2026-2027, the full-time PhD fee will be £3,700 per year, and if a student aims to complete their thesis within a period of 3 years, the likely total cost will be just a little over £10,000.
